MAGGIANO'S LITTLE ITALY - NEW OPENING IN ORLANDO is now hiring a BANQUET SALES MANAGER!We are part of the Brinker International group of highly successful, critically acclaimed restaurants. As a young exciting and highly successful restaurant group we currently have 38 locations nationwide and are selectively expanding across the country at a pace of four to five new openings per year.With average unit volume exceeding 10 million per year, Maggiano's offers the challenges and rewards unrivaled in the hospitality industry. Most units boast seating capacities ranging from 250-450, on-sight banquet facilities catering to both social and business clientele, outdoor cafes and carryout facilities. We are a culinary driven organization with a strong commitment to maintaining a scratch kitchen producing some of the best Southern Italian food.As the Banquet Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and booking our 4 on site banquet and meeting rooms for both business and social events, including showcasing the facilities, menu planning, menu tastings, client relations and detailed party planning. This position does involve heavy client interaction, cold calling, business solicitation and attending functions which require your presence.Maggiano's is much more than a restaurant and banquet facility. Widely renowned for hospitality, warmth and family-style dining, this is an excellent opportunity to represent one of the premier banquet facilities in the area.We work hard but we achieve results. Customers wait hours for our food and employees don't often leave (management turnover for 2005 was 18%). We expect results but empower our employees to drive change. We are passionate individuals who are committed to our restaurants but a family as well who bond together to make our restaurants better every day.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Applicants also must have experience with managing clients and customer relations, plus cold calling and direct solicitation of customers. Experience with marketing and PR a plus.WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT: Highly competitive compensation and sales incentive package
