job description



As a Banquet cook you will become a valuable part of the Culinary team to insure that all food products are prepared maintaining our quality standards consistently at all times. You will be responsible for assisting the Chef or Sous Chef to insure that all required preparation for the next day is completed. This position requires knowledge of all basic cooking methods including preparation of stocks, sauces, consomme, cold sauces and as well as all preparation of meats, vegetables and fruits.
REQUIREMENTS


Excellent knife skills

A minimum of 1 year Banquet Culinary Experience

Must be able to stand up to 8 hours day.

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10F) and kitchens (+110) possible for one or more hours.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
