Lead strategic marketing planning and implementation for Bakery category projects with focus on research and communications that support the identification and implementation of new customer products and solutions.
Develop and execute Bakery category marketing plan, including revenue building blocks, expense forecasts, customer segmentation, pricing strategy, communication strategy, and target relationship plans.
Conduct systematic analysis and assessment of the category environment by establishing processes to ensure that the voice of the customer is heard.
Lead the identification, creation and development of systems and solutions within the Bakery category scope.
Manage the development of new Bakery products, services and solutions via internal and external cross-functional teams.
Develop and execute brand strategies that enhance the value of the brand to Cargill, the category and the business units.
Track, measure and report progress and outcomes as related to business objectives.
Provide leadership, coaching and development to Associate or Assistant Marketing Manager(s).
Provide a work environment that enables high performance and engagement that motivates and inspires the marketing team to excel and achieve food enterprise objectives. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
MBA required, marketing concentration preferred
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, such as associate marketing or brand manager
Minimum 3 years creating and implementing Business to Business marketing strategies
Deep understanding of customer perspectives and needs.
Good written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to research, extract, clarify, and communicate market requirements.
Ability to ensure and accept accountability and take responsibility for personal actions.
Ability to manage and coach others for high performance; motivates, inspires, and engages others to excel and work towards the vision.
Demonstrated experience in successfully leading cross-functional teams.
Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills.
Practical business acumen, including budgeting and the ability to give input to and communicate a business plan to others.
Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a highly dynamic environment.
