ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGERUniversal Orlando is seeking Fine Dining Food Services professionals with high
energy, focus and a commitment to exceeding expectations. The successful candidate will lead the overall operation of a specific food service unit(s). The candidate will be accountable for unit sales, direct operating expenses, food cost and quality, profitability, supervision of staff and guest satisfaction.Job Responsibilities:Accepting accountability for all facets of service, production, quality, and controls and ensuring policies and procedures of the food service departments are followed. Remaining accountable for all sales and operating transactions in compliance with policies/procedures.
Preparing service and production staff schedules in accordance with forecasted business volume.
Planning for and ensuring that all service personnel, facilities, and materials are in complete readiness for operation.
Altering production and employee needs with varying daily business volume and monitoring all direct operating expenses for the area of responsibility.
Enforcing established safety practices and ensuring that all
productivity and quality standards are maintained.
Maintaining food and supplies par stocks; completing requisition forms accordingly and completing physical inventories.
Conducting meetings with staff at regular intervals, completing all required forms and paperwork. REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in hospitality or business preferred.
Minimum of three years practical and management experience in a
restaurant environment.
Full Service experience
Knowledge of financial and labor costs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
