Responsible and accountable for performing a wide range of patient care tasks. The performance of tasks allows the care team to provide quality care. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.Functions under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). Directly reports to the Operations Manager.Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Geisinger Health System.SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills.Demonstrates basic math skills.Demonstrates basic computer skills.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of role orientation and competencies. Continuing inservices and education programs required.BLS certification preferred.
