The Gallup Organization is searching for a statistician who will conduct routine analysis and discoveries with large data sets. Statistical methodologies that will be used are: univariate and multivariate distributions, data modeling using regression, analysis of variance, and the generalized linear model. Either individually or with teams, you will lead large-scale research projects and market research through all stages: concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final research report. Extensive SAS programming: data step, procedures, and macros, and experience with databases and languages such as SQL are required.A master’s degree in statistics or a quantitative field — with concentration in mathematics, economics, or social science — is required.
