Sr Scientist, Analytical Chemistry

Purpose: A small Medical Device company in Woburn has an immediate need for a Sr Scientist in Analytical Chemistry.

Will be responsible for Analytical support of formulation characterization. Will write test procedures to implement analytical methods for R&D and Quality Control. Will also identify product release methods and specifications for new formulations. Will write/design validation protocols and coordinate validation and transfer of methods to the QC lab.

A PhD in Chemistry or related science with 3-6 years of device and biotech industry experience is required. Candidates must have experience working with combination drug/medical device products. Must have extensive experience with pharmaceutical analytical techniques including HPLC, NMR, IR, Mass Spec, UV and chemical characterization testing methods. Must be able to apply scientific and GMP principles.
