Sr. Research Technician

SAIC-Frederick, Inc, the operations and technical support contractor for the National Cancer Institute-Frederick, has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Research Technician in our Image Analysis Laboratory. You will operate and support confocal microscopes, including providing microscope training to new users. You will also participate in research to study the quantitative molecular basis of cell-to-cell interactions in cells and tissues.
REQUIREMENTS
Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with course work in a field related to biomedical research or 4 years related experience in lieu of degree. In addition to educational requirement, a minimum of 2 years related experience is required. Must have knowledge of microscope, keep accurate data on experiments; follow and apply standard lab production protocols and precedures.
Prefer experience with molecular and cell biology assays including mammalian cell culture.
