Identify and develop research programs to exploit an emerging technology for significant business results.
Identify and develop research programs to drive cost optimization through formulation and processing efficiencies, create new prototypes for product development initiatives and to identify and approve potential ingredient and manufacturing suppliers.BS in Food Science or related field plus 5-7 years relevant work experience required.
MS in Food Science or related field plus 3-5 years relevant work experience preferred. Related fields include: Meat Science, Food & Nutrition, Food Chemistry, Food Engineering, Culinary.
Experience in Product Development in a food company required, frozen packaged goods experience preferred.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing people directly or indirectly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
May travel up to 40% of time. Must be able to travel independently and as a responsible CAG representative.
