Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst for the International Television Distribution-Finance department. Position provides support to the Manager of Finance. Act as the secondary system administrator for Khalix, the division’s planning /budgeting/forecasting/reporting software. (e.g. create reports and documentation, reconciling data from other systems). Assist in the preparation of the by title budget, forecast, and annual 5 - year plan. Own the ultimate process for locally acquired titles (e.g., foreign language film not originally produced by WB). Maintain, research, consolidate, and analyze various historical and anticipated sales / revenue information. Create, update, review, and streamline various sales / revenue reports. Monitor and coordinate quarterly revenue totals, to ensure quarterly targets are met. Interface with financial and sales staff in the international offices, Contract Administration, and MIS, regarding sales, revenue, or contract issues. Participate in the enhancement of system interface and design related issues. Innovate and streamline manual processes to increase efficiency of position. Utilize all systems (e.g. ITS, ITD, Khalix, SAP BPS-SEM Access, Excel) to gather information. Serve as backup in the preparation and submission of Television product Ultimates (quarterly and as needed) and Theatrical Ultimates (monthly and as needed), by territory and media. Research, prepare and analyze projects, problems and queries from WBInt’l TV and other WB divisions as needed.

Requirements

BA/BS degree – Business, Finance/Accounting. Strong Excel skill is a must. Ability to originate and update ad hoc requests in a timely and dependable manner is crucial to success. Macros a plus but not required. Strong systems background a plus. System design, enhancement, interface experience a bonus. Access, Powerpoint, and Word. Ability to learn new PC applications (KHALIX, SAP BPS-SEM and ITD). Be able to develop and implement projects with minimal supervision. Adept at data querying, mining, and manipulation. 3-5 years minimum experience in corporate and operational finance. Related industry experience helpful. General office activities. Working on the computer for long periods of time. Must have good attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to communicate effectively and accurately with all levels of personnel. Must be able to work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division. Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively. Must have the ability to work well under time constraints. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to reason through issues and resolve problems independently. Must be able to interact professionally with a culturally diverse staff in a dynamic fast paced environment. Must be able to work reasonable overtime, if necessary. General office environment. Computer systems, adding machines, fax machines and other general office machines.
