REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D with 2-3 years of experience in Neuroscience research or related field.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The individual will have demonstrated expertise in applying electrophysiological techniques to the evaluation of ion channel mechanism and function in cell lines, neurons and brain slices and be capable of conducting independent research in the area of ion channel biology. A strong theoretical background in the involvement and implication of ion channels in human disease is required, as is a solid scientific track record evidenced by publications in high-quality journals and presentations to external meetings. In addition, the candidate should possess good communication skills and have a demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment is essential.
