Senior Quantitative Research Analyst

Hours/Schedule: 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM Description: Responsible for the design and implementation of models to support the firm's strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies, which span domestic and international equity and fixed income markets, as well as non-traditional asset classes, such as hedge funds. Wilmington Trust Investment Management, a division of Wilmington Trust's Wealth advisory Services, delivers asset allocation strategies using partnerships, mutual funds and separate accounts. The role will also offer an opportunity to collaborate on applied quantitative research with the firm's manager research, equity, fixed income and derivatives departments. Experience with risk management techniques and an appreciation of transaction cost analysis will be helpful.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or work experience; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred specializing in applied quantitative finance, will have passed Level II of the CFA program and will be comfortable in integrating statistical and programming software with large databases. Familiarity with VBA, MatLab and SQL will also be helpful.
