SIGINT Analyst - Rome, NY
The successful candidate will serve as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst supporting a Department of Defense system. The primary task consists of performing multi-source data analysis and producing intelligence report input.The SIGINT Analyst will assist with the development of follow-on system and analysis requirements.
The selected candidate will also participate in testing and evaluation of new system components.
The SIGINT Analyst shall provide emergency support related to crisis situations or requests for immediate analytical response requiring unique skills. Specifically, the contractor shall respond to the need to augment rapid turn around of analytical resources. The work may include travel.
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years SIGINT experience or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and seven years SIGINT experience. SIGINT experience includes operations, analysis, and SIGINT reporting. Qualifications should include: expertise in one or more SIGINT-related disciplines; experience in data analysis and relationship mapping; presentation development, research and analysis techniques; writing. Experience in working with diverse groups is desired. Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills including the ability to write progress reports, make oral presentations, and to implement or influence implementation of operating standards, policies and procedures in the project. Recent operational SIGINT field experience is highly desired.
Security Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen; Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. An in-scope (within 5 years) SSBI and a U.S. Government clearance within the last 24 months is required. A current CI or FS polygraph is a plus.
