Research Associate

Purpose: We are always in need of: Research Associate for Cell Biology group

BA/BS or MS degree with a minimum of three years research experience in the field of cell biology. Must have experience with mammalian cell culture. Must also have small molecule drug discovery/development experience.

Technical skills desired:
Mammalian cell culture ? familiarity with sterile techniques, maintenance of cell lines (both adherent and suspension), different methods of transfection, generation of stable cell lines
Drug discovery/development ? experience in small molecule screening, working in 96well plate format required.
Cell biology ? western blotting, SDS-PAGE, immunoprecipitation.
Molecular biology ? PCR, DNA vector construction
Computer skills ? must be comfortable working with Microsoft ExcelClassification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
