Your Opportunity
LECG is seeking Research Analyst for its Wayne, PA office to work primarily in the Environmental Practice Group, with a focus on litigation support, dispute resolution and agricultural economics issues. The Research Analyst position is demanding and offers many intellectual challenges. The responsibilities of a Research Analyst include the collection and synthesis of regulatory, economic, scientific and financial data; the creation and programming of spreadsheets, databases, charts, and graphs; historical investigations of waste disposal sites and report writing.
Research Analysts work on teams with Senior Staff and experts. Teams are drawn from members of the firm with complementary specialties, and occasionally involve staff from other LECG offices. This offers Research Analysts the opportunity to expand their experience and knowledge into many industries, fields, and methods of analyses. It also allows them to work side-by-side with colleagues who are renowned experts in their fields on important issues within litigation, regulatory, and business consulting frameworks.

REQUIREMENTS
A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and an understanding of economics, environmental science, legal, accounting, engineering or some related field.
Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
Ability to collect, synthesize, and summarize data and documents.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with database tools used to manage large datasets (such as Microsoft Access) is highly desirable.
High standards for work quality and attention to detail.
Ability to work well as part of a team while taking responsibility for individual projects.
Ability to solve problems while exhibiting good judgment.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Working outside normal business hours is expected and travel may be necessary.
Create, maintain and audit electronic documents, spreadsheets and databases.
