RESEARCH ENGINEER - NM Ph.D in Biophysics, BioChemistry or BioEngineering with knowledge of biomedical diagnostics. Will be responsible for developing novel photonic based imaging and sensing instruments with microfluidic sample handing and novel biochemical assay synthesis. RESEARCH ENGINEER - RP MS/Ph.D in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years experience in prototyping of small optical systems. Ideal candidate will set up test optical breadboards; develop mechanical engineering design packaging and miniature system electronics; and transition breadboards into brassboards/mature prototypes. Ability to effectively accomplish these duties, either in-house or via outsourcing is a must. Proficiency in Matlab., ZEMAX, AutoCAD/Pro-Engineer, OrCAD or related tools is desired. Knowledge of MEMS devices and fabrication. Programming in C++ and embedded software will be a plus. RF ENGINEER-SR Requires BS or masters degree in Electrical Engineering. The candidate must have 5 yrs experience in the areas of RF (from physical layer to application layer). Baseband electronics. Wireless communication (OFDM, QAM, QPSK, and so on), antenna design, high speed communication, and transceiver design/development. Hands-on experience in designing, fabricating and layout. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER-YZ BS or MS in Electrical/Electro-optical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Knowledge in optics and mechanics s preferred. Task s include performing circuitry design, test, and small system integration. Experience in programming, especially in Matlab and/or Labview uis highly preferred. Programming experience in other high level language may substitute the above requirement. Experience in design programs, such as AutoCAD/Solid Works/Pro-Engineer, or ray-tracing programs are a big plus. PROGRAM MANAGER-AK Expertise in managing larger size SBIR and/or no SBIR government programs is required. Expertise required in at least one of the following technical areas. RF system design, software development, electronic hardware development and system integration. ENGINEER/TECHNICIAN-SS BS in Electrical/Electro-optical Engineering with knowledge of Computer Engineering. Hands-on experience in programming small system integration, assembly and testing of sensors and sensor networks, and data acquisition. Willing to work in multitasking challenging environment.
