RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Title: Research Associate
Reports to: Director of Research

IEG — a subsidiary of WPP’s Group M and the driving force in the sponsorship industry — has an opening for a Research Associate in its Chicago-based headquarters.


Job Summary
The Associate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data on sponsorship programs for IEG’s internal and external clients. Specific responsibilities include conducting primary and secondary research on sponsorship programs, data entry and analysis.


Responsibilities
•Maintain databases, including but not limited to data entry, fact-checking and proofreading
•Conduct research on a wide variety of industries using online resources, printed publications, surveys and telephone interviews
•Integrate information from different sources to reach a consensus
•Evaluate the validity, reliability and usefulness of the information collected
•Present research findings and recommendations to management
•Keep abreast of the sponsorship industry
