Practice Analyst

The center operates in three main hubs: Chicago, Illinois; Sante Fe, New Mexico; and the newly launched Amsterdam office.
Position SummaryThe Practice Analyst is responsible for researching publicly available information on the internet and through print publications. The Practice Analyst is dedicated to one of our industry or functional practices which will prioritize research. This is a proactive research position working on projects that help enhance the content of our database for one of our industry practices.Key RelationshipsReports to:•Senior Vice President, Knowledge ServicesOther key relationships:•Private Equity Specialist

•Other Practice AnalystsMajor Responsibilities•Work closely with the practice to develop proactive research.
•The Practice Analyst will maintain the Knowledge Page (intranet) for the practice. They will also assume responsibility for practice content in QuestNT.
•Through internet research, populate our proprietary database, QuestNT, with key data on executives and companies as identified by the practice.•Build practice specific research tools and resources combining our proprietary database, QuestNT, with external research and information. Become adept at using focused resources like Capital IQ and Venture Expert.•Review industry literature for executive changes. Populate the database with key data points.•Utilize various Microsoft Office applications to present research to the firm.•Enhance content stored on the practice’s intranet site.
•Assist the Private Equity Specialist develop intellectual capital pieces.•Through knowledge of the PE candidate pool, actively seek solutions for Private Equity Practice assignments.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal Experience•Strong research skills: Experience with collecting and organizing information from databases and/or internet resources. Has ability to read and synthesize data into other formats.•Computer literate: Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and the internet.•Undergraduate degree.•Multi-lingual: Working knowledge of spoken and written English is mandatory; knowledge of German and/ or French is desired.
