Laboratory Technician

Hercules has an opening for a Laboratory Technician. This position requires strong laboratory skills to support product development and fundamental research efforts in Aqualon's research and development group. Specifically these technical efforts support the application of water soluble polymer products in architectural paints. The primary laboratory activities are preparation and testing of paint formulations. The individual is expected to deliver extensive formulation testing results with high productivity and quality with minimal supervision.

REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related disciplines; or B.S. in majors other than chemistry/chemical engineering/materials sciences.
Strong laboratory skills, preferably with paint formulating/testing and/or synthesis experience.
High standards of record keeping and housekeeping.
Writing, oral communication, and PC skills.
