Lab Technician

The company markets “Equivalent to or better than OEM” KATUN-brand toners/developers, photoreceptors, parts, and service accessories for analog copiers, digital copiers, digital duplicators, facsimile machines, laser printers, and multifunctional devices, to independent office equipment dealers and distributors worldwide. Katun also sells its products directly to private label distributors and dealers worldwide.
We have an immediate opening for a Lab Technician. In this position you will test, evaluate and interpret test results for Katun and supplier products to provide the essential technical recommendations to internal customers to enable them to make educated decisions regarding new product launches and existing product improvements. In addition, you will provide post sale technical support to internal and external customers, address customer concerns regarding performance of our products by testing, evaluating and providing technical results to ensure quality; and provide training to customers for resolution of potential problems. You will coach and advise lab personnel as well as coordinate and provide technical training for products, technologies, test equipment and processes for Katun employees, suppliers and customers so they may provide quality products and services.
REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma
· 1-2 years vocational education or equivalent
· 1+ years experience; office automation industry preferred
· proven skill in performing multiple tasks
· good communication skills, both written and verbal
· strong and proven organizational skills
· very strong attention to detail skills
· formal office automation equipment training or service technician experience a definite plus
· basic computer skills; test and diagnostic equipment software a plus
