Lab Technician

Gold Canyon is a seeking an experienced Lab Technician who will report to the Product Management Director. This position will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and optimizing candles to ensure product safety and burn standards

Primary Job Functions:

• Pour fragrance samples and record evaluation results
• Test and evaluate candle accessories for safety
• Stability testing new candle formulas and blends
• Quality tests on incoming materials
• Develop candle color formulas
• Maintain test data
• Assist creative department
• Uphold ASTM/MSDS procedures and protocol
REQUIREMENTS
- AA Degree in a scientific discipline (Bachelors Degree a plus) - Minimum 2 years experience working in a lab - Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to plan and execute workload with limited supervision. - Detail-oriented and time conscience
