University Laboratories.



DMC University Laboratories is a regional consolidated system supporting the DMC hospitals and commercial business. DMC is affiliated with Wayne State University and is one of the largest employers in Southeastern Michigan. The Detroit Medical Center is located in the heart of a cultural center surrounded by a diverse University environment. Presently, a variety of leadership positions are available at several of the facilities. We are looking for innovative candidates who want to be part of a University-based laboratory team that has cutting-edge technology. The following openings are available.



GENERAL LABORATORY SUPERVISOR

Children’s Hospital facility, the first and only hospital in Michigan dedicated to the treatment of children.



SUPERVISOR, CORE CHEMISTRY LABORATORY

Department is a highly automated robotic section with a large volume of esoteric testing.



GROUP LEADER MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY

Position has responsibility for Central Processing a specimen triage – located at University Health Center.



PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT

Position is located at Sinai-Grace, one of our community-based hospitals with a large trauma ER.



All of these positions require A.S.C.P. or AAPA certifications, depending on the position. Supervisor positions require 3 years of previous management experience.
