Its people are curious, eager to learn, passionate to contribute their ideas, accepting of criticism and suggestions, and willing to constructively confront difficult problems and situations in order to provide dramatic innovation.We have several positions available for Project Connection Machine, an R&D effort to apply techniques of AI and Knowledge Management to locate experts and expertise within a global, 120,000-employee company.The job responsibilities are as follows:Implement and refine web user interface, application workflow, question tracking system and administrative dashboard for web-based expertise locator application. Perform code revision to enhance performance. Work closely with the development team to integrate the expertise engine, Lotus Notes interface, web interface and the workflow engine. Support the implementation of an unobtrusive and maintainable acquisition and update method for user profiles in application domain.The position is in San Jose, CA. REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
B/S M/S CS or similar.Essential Requirements:
BS/MS CS or similar, extensive experience in web application development in a J2EE environment required (BEA Weblogic 8.1.2 server and Web Logic Workshop IDE, JDBC, JMS, JSP, DHTML, Struts, Oracle, under Solaris and Windows). Experience in Lotus Notes development or Blackberry API desired. Experience in user adaptive knowledge management system development, knowledge representation, and data mining preferred.
