Environmental SpecialistYou are a recent college graduate looking to jump start your career in the Environmental field with a company that promotes from within and recognizes performance. You want to help champion the necessity of environmental compliance in all aspects of plant operations.As an Environmental Specialist with James Hardie, you will have the opportunity to work in a newly created department and shape the Environmental program at James Hardie. You will work closely with the Environmental Compliance Manager to develop and implement best practices related to environmental compliance in our 10 plants across the US. As part of that process, you will help develop and participate in biannual facility Environmental compliance audits and implement capitol projects related to your audit findings. You will also act as a technical resource to our plants and be responsible for coordinating Environmental permitting applications at each of our plant sites.Qualifications B.S. in Environmental Sciences / Engineering
1+ years experience / co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
Areas of concentration: effluent discharge, air pollution, solid waste disposal
