San Diego, CAThe successful candidate will effectively manage the activities of data management studies and staff in a manner that ensures all timeframes and targets are met with the highest quality to the sponsor's satisfaction, and that costs are kept under control. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering the data management projects in accordance with the contracts agreed with the sponsors, managing projects in a timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate regulations, and to liaise with other departments and project managers as necessary. Additionally, you will write the overall data management plan and study specific protocols, prepare and manage the overall projects' budgets throughout the life-cycle of the project, and take overall responsibility for cost control, timelines and project quality keeping senior management informed of all appropriate issues.The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in nursing or life sciences along 5-7 years of clinical data management experience is required. Excellent communication, organization and computer skills are necessary.
