Clinical Research Project Manager IV - KCC

The Kimmel Cancer Center has a full time day shift position available for a Clinical Research Project Manager IV.

The Clinical Project Manager (IV) is responsible for working with the Director of the KCC Clinical Research Management Office (CRMO) and the CRMO staff to develop systems to implement and manage all medical oncology clinical protocols. This position will provide broad oversight for all aspects of medical oncology clinical research from protocol development to staff education.

Additional duties include:
Reviewing all new medical oncology protocols to determine requirements for implementation and feasibility.
Periodically reviewing staffing resources in order to identify staffing needs.
Serving as CRMO nursing resource for research protocol development,initiation and implementation.
Learning all new medical oncology protocols and keeping abreast of these research projects.
Supervising clinical research personnel (clinical research coordinators and data managers).
Assigning work and providing performance evaluations.
Developing and maintaining efficient, organized, systematic methods of protocol implementation and data analysis.
Developing and preparing resource materials for oncology clinical research staff education.
Working with CRMO budget manager to develop clinical trial budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
M.S.N. required with at least 5 years in clinical research coordination.
Oncology experience required.
Current PA RN licensure.
Clinical background including 3-5 years experience in ambulatory care, community health or inpatient setting where patient education is component of clinical care.
Must have 5+ years of clinical protocol implementation experience.
