Central Sterile Technician

The tradition of caring which culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1933, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. In 1992 Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center, and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The Hospital is now a 228-bed facility on two campuses, providing comprehensive healthcare services. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Resource Management this position processes sterile equipment for hospital use. Assists other employees in handling equipment, materials and supplies throughout the hospital. Perform a variety of duties related to the distribution of supplies.
Position Requirements Central Service Technician Certificate required. Current BCLS (CPR) required. One year experience in Central Supply required. Knowledge of procedure policies and regulations concerning sterile techniques required.
