North Wales, PAProposals –The chosen candidate for this position will coordinate and prepare key and non-key cost proposals, for new ROW business opportunities. In this role you will clarify proposal specifications with the client or the Account Executive, to ensure that the cost proposal meets the client’s requirements
Change Orders -
Responsibilities include coordinating and preparing change orders for existing ROW business as well as clarifying change order specifications with the Project Manager and the client.
Contracts -
You will assist in the co-ordination and preparation of letter of intents and contracts within agreed timelines
Coordination/Management -
You will be accountable for soliciting input and review of cost proposals and change orders from the relevant operational departments and to ensure that the Business Development Manager and the Account Executive are apprised of the status of the proposal and change order preparation. Additionally, the selected individual will provide information and participate in negotiations and discussions with clients regarding cost proposals/change orders/contracts with the Business Development Manager and Account Executive
Attend bid defence and other client meetings as a support role when required as well as train and mentor Business Development Associates I, and others as appropriate as designated by the Business Development Manager.
Process -
Responsibilities will also include submitting approved cost proposals and change orders, on time, to client or to Account Executive and ensuring that submitted cost proposals and blue sheets are properly tracked and filed
Generally you will prepare and maintain electronic and paper files and undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.The qualified candidate will have a university degree in science / biomedical / business area or equivalent. Prior experience in the CRO or pharmaceutical industry is mandatory and good working knowledge of clinical research and data management is preferred. 9 – 12 months experience in proposal development or contract management is necessary to fulfil the responsibilities of this position. Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as someone who is a self-starter and able to function in a high-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office packages and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
