Duties
This person will be doing routine & non-routine analytical testing. This position will be involved in a lot of problem solving for the following areas: R&D, Process and Production. This lab is part of the production facility. There are 3 other people in this group. Primary duties for this position include the development of new analytical methodologies, improvements for existing methodologies, method validation, introduction of new instrumental technology, and providing expert technical support for product/process chemistry issues. This is a cGMP Lab.
The successful candidate will need to exhibit a high level of knowledge in chemistry, self-directed, detail oriented with a broad understanding of chemical analysis and analytical techniques. In addition, this individual will pose the ability to effectively communicate and develop professional relationships with internal and external parties. Periodic off-hours and weekend coverage is requires of this position.
REQUIREMENTS
MS Chemistry with 1-2 years of Analytical experience. Will consider BS Chemist with 3-7 years of Analytical experience with GCMS & HPLC. Should have a strong organic chemistry background. Must have very good problem solving skills.
