Our current openings include an exciting opportunity for a SALES PROFESSIONAL to fill the role of Sales and Marketing Director.

Because our community is private pay, we typically do not accept state assistance and other forms of subsidized payments. Therefore, in order to make our business grow, we must stretch above and beyond the normal expectations of our customers and our competitors. Delivering exceptional service begins with our Sales and Marketing DirectorWhen families are looking for assisted living services, they are looking for help at a time of great significance and may often be referred by someone they trust. Most inquiries into our community are generated through media advertising and strong sales effort among professionals including physicians, discharge planners, clergy and other senior service providers. The Sales and Marketing Director must be professional, motivated, helpful and influential when speaking with these referral sources.Because every person’s situation is unique, it is important for this sales professional be a good listener and a constant resource for family members and their loved ones. Typically, those facing decisions about a lifestyle change for themselves or someone they love seek to connect with someone that can understand their unique needs and offer solutions. You will be a part of our team that works to make those decisions and transitions easier.The Sales and Marketing Director’s job includes the things that most typical sales positions entail, such as managing multiple prospects, having clear goals and receiving great commissions. You will use your head and sell from the heart.Your OpportunityYour goal as the Sales and Marketing Director is to grow occupancy and keep every apartment in our community occupied. Your opportunity lies in creative and strategic thinking about generating that growth. Your efforts will be rewarded with incentives tied directly to your results.Outside of the community, you will be responsible for gaining professional referrals for The Manse on Marsh by building relationships and partnerships in the outside community, through networking, sales calls and lead-generating events. You will become a reliable resource within your professional network, which means being someone who can respond quickly to others’ needs and make their jobs easier.
Inside the community, you will work to successfully manage leads. You will provide support to potential residents and families throughout the decision-making process and effectively follow up with them in a way that is meaningful and produces results.Also, your individual performance is rewarded by meeting and exceeding your business goal of occupancy growth. Specifically, you will earn commission income above and beyond an impressive salary by achieving and maintaining higher than average occupancy within the community. Our attractive bonus plan is just one of the ways that we retain the best people to serve our residents, families and referral sources.The Sales and Marketing Director must:•Maintain 97% to 100% occupancy in the community;
•Be able to identify opportunities for appropriate, qualified referrals;•Be able to convey to those referral sources a vivid description of who the appropriate, qualified potential residents are for our community;
•Be able to effectively manage their time and keep commitments; must be able to work some evenings and weekends as needed
•Be able to prioritize all projects both inside and outside the community to achieve occupancy goals;
•Be a team player motivating everyone to success;
•Have a positive attitude;
•Be a self-starter with a creative and energetic attitude;
•Have a strong work ethic;
•Be able to formulate a plan to achieve sales goals including appropriate levels of follow-up on all inquiries;
•Be able to accurately document sales activity in the computer, using Atria’s inquiry management system, in a timely manner.
•Create marketing materials and advertisement to generate qualified leads.RequirementsThe successful candidate must have 3 - 5 years experience in outside sales with a relevant market or business focus. Experience in healthcare is a plus, but not required. An undergraduate degree is also preferred, but a combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered.The Manse on Marsh offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits program, and outstanding bonus income potential.
