The Relocation Manager will serve as the primary counselor to relocating individuals and their families, as well as coordinator of all relocation service providers involved in the process. A Relocation Manager works with customers to facilitate the entire relocation process, including: Selling a current home, selecting and managing van lines and mortgage brokers, buying a new home, coordinating temporary housing options, and other related activities. Based out of the company's downtown Chicago Loop Headquarters, the position will also require minimal travel.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate’s responsibilities are summarized below, and the dynamic nature of a growth-oriented company will lead to additional project based opportunities.

Recognizing and resolving customer needs.
Building and maintaining strong and trusting customer relationships.
Acting as a key member of the customer service team and positively contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
Growing in the Relocation Manager role to become a Team Leader.
Minimal travel to client sites for training and other purposes.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate well on the phone.
Strong collaborative skills and demonstrated experience as a contributing member of a team.
The ability to empathize with the needs of relocating individuals and their families.
A solid track record of providing consistent, exceptional customer service.
Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Fluency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and strong typing skills.
True passion for quality customer service.
Sensitivity and sympathy to the needs of relocating individuals and their families.
Ability to take initiative and be resourceful.
Possess the demonstrated ability to manage stress effectively.
Patience and exceptional listening skills.
Four year degree from an accredited institution preferred.
3 years of customer service experience (preferred, but not required.
