Regional Property Manager

We are looking for just one more!The Regional Manager's duties will be to proactively oversee the successful management of multiple apartment communities within the Bozzuto Management Company portfolio in our metro DC/VA/MD region.Duties will include, but not be limited to:
•Oversee the management of up to 7-10 apartment communities of various sizes, products and locations in the metro region.
•Work closely with Property Managers to evaluate and analyze their property’s performance from an operational and financial perspective.
•Complete a thorough review of monthly operating statement and general ledger.
•Maintain a general knowledge of any transaction in markets under management.
•Preparation of review of monthly Owners Reports and quarterly financial reviews.
•Conduct review of property manager’s annual operating budgets on each site and have final sign-off on budget for review by President, SVP. Assist/train PMs with budget process as needed.
•Analyze and approve expenses throughout the portfolio.
•Possess thorough knowledge of competitive properties and market knowledge of every asset in portfolio.
•Adhere to Bozzuto Marketing standards at all properties.
•Submit weekly objectives and schedules.
•Possess a complete understanding of management agreement responsibilities.
•Possess a complete understand of Ownership structure, financing, and income-regulated programs.
•Coordinate and execute Manager, Leasing and Maintenance meetings
•Conduct performance review with on-site Property Manager quarterly.
•Provide final approval of all new hires in portfolio.
•Monitor progress of employee certification on all new hires.
•Assist and show involvement with company training programs and off-site recruiting efforts.
•Assist Property Manager in resolving employee issues concerning performance evaluations, or employee disciplinary actions.
•Reinforce Company Values in all property operations.
•Inspire each Property Manager, and staff to do their very best work in striving for perfection.
•Assist in marketing the Bozzuto brand to prospective new clients.
•Assist in developing presentations and proposals to prospective new clients.
•Attend proposal meetings, effectively marketing Bozzuto capabilities.
•Travel throughout the territory is required, as well as occasional (approx 2 times monthly) travel to corporate office in Greenbelt, MD.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Experience as a Regional Manager required
2+ years in this level of authority/responsibility (min) with (preferably) a strong regional or national property management company w/similar product line (luxury market).Demonstrated history of progressively responsible experience in the industry required. Third party client experience is required.
Institutional experience is required.
BA/BS degree highly preferred.
Must be able to conduct a thorough analysis of a subject property to include assessing the Value of an Asset.
Must be able to thoroughly understand the financial aspects of running a portfolio.Must possess strong Excel and general computer skills. Property Management specific software experience of some kind required. Rent Roll or Yardi preferred.
Strong, positive, motivational leadership style in managing multiple teams to success.
Must have strong ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining consistent service/assess to owners/officers, etc.
Must possess extremely strong communications skills; both written and verbal.
Must have demonstrated conflict resolutions skills.
Must have high sense of urgency in completing all tasks, while maintaining a strong detail orientation.
