Regional Property Manager
Rapidly growing national real estate property management,/i> firm is seeking a regional property managers to be based near Orlando, Florida. The selected candidates will work closely with the Management Company corporate offices, including the Accounting and Human Resources Departments as well as the on-site property managers and staffs.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in property management, be self-motivated, and possess strong written and verbal communications skills.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Create monthly calendar, distribute to site managers, ensure adherence to deadlines as specified in calendar.
Track managers' reports (HAP, month-end financial report, monthly package transmittal sheet, monthly work order summary sheet, payroll reporting schedule, site managers monthly report, status of waiting list) and ensure compliance.
Analyze monthly general ledger listing for all sites for unauthorized expenditure and unmet income target and mail GL listing to sites managers.
Draw up budget variance report for each site, and follow-up on variance responses by the site managers.
Analyze data from weekly status report, highlight and follow-up on problem areas accordingly.
Handle complaints from referred residents, ensure they are promptly resolved by site managers and make follow-up calls.
Take calls from site staff and resolve all queries promptly.
Open incoming mail and respond to the issues addressed appropriately.
Ensure manual and computer files are maintained and updated.
Draw up and place jobs and career fair advertisements. Screen resumes, conduct job interviews, administer relevant selection test, draw up short-list of qualified candidates and set up final interview with portfolio manager.
Manage employee processing to include orientation, new employee processing and termination packets, follow-through on data required.
Create, maintain and update all employee personnel records, to include new hire/termination, pay changes, reviews, promotions, and verification requests.
Departmental administrative duties as required, to include/maintenance of supplies, correspondence, processing mail, expense reports, purchasing, etc.
Organize/assist in employee programs to include professional development, awards and recognition program, Holiday party, etc.
Ensure site managers comply with the personnel regulations (particularly attendance controller sheets, overtime approval procedure).
Ensure all performance appraisals are conducted in accordance with company procedure, and when due.
Carry out job analysis and review job descriptions and personnel specification as necessary.
Work closely with accounting and human resources departments to ensure consistency and compliance with regulations and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS

Strong oral and written skills Strong organizational skills: ability to set priorities; able to meet deadlines Ability to self manage.
Knowledge of bookkeeping, A/P, A/ R
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Timberline, ADP & Rental Roll preferred.
Operation of office equipment
Able to handle matters of confidential and sensitive nature Good interpersonal skills
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree or related work experience in Administration or Human Resources
EXPERIENCE
Prior property management, administration and/or related experience.
Tax credit experience highly preferred.
