Department: Real EstatePosition Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the broker network in a defined territory.Duties and Responsibilities:Overall regional responsibilities include: Management of the brokers in the region to ensure high close rates and growth in closed units year-over-year.
Maximizing the revenue potential of the region to ensure positive revenue and OIBA contribution.
Training of brokers and agents on specific programs and best practices to ensure customer satisfaction and growth, IE: Loyalty programs.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally. Including Principal Broker owners, Relocation Directors, eCommerce directors, primary contacts (PC’s) both regionally and nationally.
Retention and recruiting of brokers in the region to ensure top quality coverage, service and performance.
Continual interaction with the membership in the region through one-on-one meetings, focus groups, roundtable meetings and phone interaction. Multiple touch points with every member per region annually.
Maintain and promote our reputation and standing within the industry and our membership base both nationally and locally, attendance at local and national real estate functions as budget permits, committees and by volunteering to speak at these functions.
Maintain top-level knowledge of competition, industry trends, activities, threats and opportunities through research, conferences, one-on-one meetings and industry publications.
Provide training and education to the membership in all areas including, but not limited to:
Best Practices
Start up and agent training
Realty Connection
Lead management / Policy
Provide account management to the broker across all company initiatives and program including, but not limited to the Broker Network, the Agent Network, listings coverage and the various programs associated with listings, RealEstate.com Store, and all affinity and lender partners.
Provide reporting to Vice President on regional results, direction and challenges as required.
Extensive travel to ensure membership and network success is required.Skills / Knowledge Requirements:
Professional Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of the real estate and financial industry, including 3-5 years work experience in the real estate industryCommunications/Management:
Demonstrated, strong interpersonal skills and sales skills
Proven Influence management skills
Demonstrated strength in verbal and written communication
Ability to work effectively and communicate with all levels of management up to the CEOOrganizational skills:

Ability to Multi-task
Manage all projects through to successful completionEducation / Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of three-five years work experience in the real estate industry
Proven experience working with development and successful growth of business relationships
Extensive knowledge of the Internet as well as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
