Appraisal Supervisor

Our sustained growth has created an exciting career opportunity for you to flourish and excel in the role of Appraisal Manager and Lead Appraiser on our Church and Ministry Lending (CML) team at our Brea, CA headquarters.

By managing the appraisal team and conducting commercial appraisal valuations, the Appraisal Manager is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and training the work of the appraisal staff, coordinating the appraisal process, and communicating with Sales and Loan Operation teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Conducting appraisal valuations of church properties in the Western States and staff development with the objective of equipping for appraisal licensing is an essential component of this position.

REQUIREMENTSCalifornia General Real Estate Appraisal License required.
Significant commercial appraiser experience with some church appraisal experience preferred. Thorough understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, USPAP requirements, and commercial property valuation theory and techniques as they relate to appraisals.
MAI membership preferred.

Prior experience providing leadership to a team and working cooperatively in a highly interdependent environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
