Windows XP SW Testers

Job description:
RemxIT has a Charlottesville, VA (22911) based client looking to build a team of software testers.

Location: Charlottesville, VA
Duration: Permanent
Shift: 3pm to Midnight

**Job Summary

Client has multiple permanent and contractor positions in our software Quality Assurance department.

Responsibilities:

-Design, implement, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans.

-Record software defects in a "bug database".

-Generate reports from bug database.

-Use creativity to find defects in software and hardware before products are shipped to customers.

-Help reproduce product anomalies reported at customer sites.

**Minimum Required Qualifications:

2-year college degree (preferably computer software related)

3+ years experience in software quality assurance

Familiarity with the software development life cycle

Moderate skill with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows XP

Desire to be a part of a quality assurance team

**Desired Qualifications:

BS in Quality Control, MIS, Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Experience in testing computer games

Years of experience in the casino industry

Familiarity with Perforce, FogBugz, Python, Ethereal and DOS
