Staff Associate - ACP

Makes recommendations to management on new account and existing account policy development based on data analysis and company objectives. Conducts data analysis on the risk and profit impact of current policies and product features. Responsible for the design, tracking, and monitoring of test and control strategies. Responsible for the implementation of credit scoring models and their use in decision strategies. Insures the correct application of models and their usage within the system and the field. Conducts data analysis projects utilizing data from a diverse set of sources. Consult and advise as the subject matter expert with ad hoc data analysis and strategy development.
Essential Functions: Designs and conducts data analysis project to refine and improved current processes, and strategies utilizing both PC and SAS analysis tools.
Conducts analysis on the impact and new account and existing account policies and procedures. Must be able to make recommendations to management. Coordinates and analyzes scorecard validations. Audits credit bureau processing and data collection projects with credit bureaus, as needed. Track and report portfolio performance and profitability. Designs, develops and prepares project specifications for controlled portfolio tests. Makes recommendations to management based on test results.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
A college degree in business, statistics, computer sciences or a related field a must. Five to eight years experience in the credit card industry required. Proven knowledge and expertise in the management of data on multiple hardware processing platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work well with minimal direction. Extensive project management skills are required. Demonstrated problem solving, decision making skills and leadership skills. Extensive PC and mainframe statistical software package experience (SAS), as well as knowledge of batch and on-line processing required.
