Sr. Compliance Review Officer

The incumbent will provide high-level professional support to assist the Research Compliance Education Administrator to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the existing IRB education program. Major responsibilities in this area include the following: researching and making recommendations on new educational modules to improve the existing IRB education program and to further meet the needs of the research community; developing measures to assess the effectiveness of the IRB education programs. Support in this area also includes active participation in the inter-institutional coalition for human subject’s protection enhancement. Other functions include but are not limited to the development and distribution of a Research Compliance Newsletter and the development of educational and guidance materials for research personnel, committee members, and research compliance staff; ongoing support for the existing programs currently supported by Office of Research Compliance. The incumbent will also be responsible for projects assigned to support the institution's ongoing accreditation in human subject protection principles.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include a Master's degree and 2 years IRB-related experience or 4 years relevant experience in clinical trial, health care, public health, or the equivalent; or a Bachelor's degree and 4 years IRB-related experience or 6 years relevant experience in clinical trial, health care, public health or the equivalent. A certification of "Certified IRB Professional" is required.
