A great opportunity with MasterBrand Cabinets could exist for you as a Finish Specialist at our Littlestown PA facility.

Position Summary
The Finish Specialist will provide the technical expertise and leadership to drive Continuous Improvement in the plant finishing operation. This individual will become certified as a Black Belt and utilize the Lean and Six Sigma tools to identify and eliminate process variation. Will network with other finish specialists to identify and translate best practices between production facilities as well as set overall direction for the finish operations.

Accountabilities
•Execute projects that target improvement to key finish metrics.
•Establish, document, and implement standard procedures based on empirical results.
•Establish and implement a site finish associate certification process.
•Conduct routine audits to ensure conformance to documented best practices and standard operating procedures.
•Approve all finish and wood prep process changes and provide data-driven rationale for all changes.
•Network with finish specialists throughout MBCI.
•Assist in developing preventive maintenance procedures and schedules on finishing equipment.
•Provide technical training to manufacturing leadership and associates.
•Complete MBCI Black Belt certification in finish processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
•Must be a proven driver of continuous improvement in a manufacturing process.
•Strong problem solving skills.
•Excellent teamwork facilitation skills.
•Good verbal and written communication skills.
•5+ years of hands-on wood finish experience in a high volume production facility.
•Current Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus.
•Knowledge of the cabinet and/or furniture industry.

Education
•Four year degree preferred or equivalent experience.
