Software Test Analyst

Our client is in the need of a Web Developer

Responsibilities:

Performing standard software development tasks associated with the support of an existing web application. These tasks include analysis, design, prototyping, coding, testing, training and documentation.

Work with application customers to understand their software change request (SCR) requirements.

Perform analysis on the existing application to understand how to implement enhancements and requested logic changes.

Develop, code, and test software enhancements and changes.

Work with the team tester to validate new code changes are working properly.

Perform and participate in the technical reviews of components developed.

Communicate with project manager, technical team lead, team members and customer about change requests.

Comply and follow all the TEA’s policies and procedures which include the use of the agency’s change management system, version control systems, and production promotion procedures.

Keep the agency supervisor and management informed on issues and the status of work planned and complemented by submitting weekly status reports.

Interface as appropriate in carrying out application design and development responsibilities with Agency data analyst, database administrators, network operations, SCM administration, the security officer and other IT peers and management.
REQUIREMENTS


Requierements:

5 yrs of work experience on a development and/or support project which followed a full system development life cycle. Specifically, experienced in performing maintenance and support where you are implementing software change requests for an existing web application which is complex.

5 yrsof web application development experience with HTML, "classic" ASP pages, SQL including stored procedures or t-swl, JavaScript, Windows 2000 server and IIS 5.0+

5 yrs of work experience and skills in the use of Sybase 11.0+, MS Server 2000 or other relational database.

Must be highly proficient in working with complex stored procedures

Must have excelleng communication skills both orally and in writing and able to work with business users directly to understand software changes

4yrsof experience using software versiona management tooks such as Merant's PVCS Verson Manager and Tracker
