This Company has been an established industry leader for over a half century. We operate within a state-of-the-art automated 140,000 square foot air conditioned facility. On-going investments in CNC fabrication and quality control technology are an essential part of our operating philosophy. With virtually no "hard tooling" costs, a component can be produced and market tested in lower volumes. As demand increases, production efficiencies can be improved by utilizing our stamping operation.

Position: We are in need of a Six Sigma Black Belt Project Leader. The select candidate will be reporting to and working directly with the new Senior Operations Executive and the President of the Company who is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. The importance of this role cannot be understated. This professional will assist in planning, designing, and rapidly implementing World Class Best Practices centered on Six Sigma. As such you will be instrumental in helping a good company become a great company.
REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will possess but not be limited to the following demonstrated, successful, and verifiable qualifications.5 years hands on experience as a Six Sigma Black Belt Project leader who is familiar with completing projects successfully in a manufacturing environment. This includes the ability to manage conflict and operate independently.Your experience includes 5-10 years of working in a precision metal component manufacturing environment involving precision metal stamping and/or fabrication.Heavy experience in problem identification, rapid resolution and implementation.Not a hard requirement, but being certified/familiar in Lean and Business Process Management will be considered a plus.Experience in Automation, Materials Handling or Robotic Welding is highly desirable. Background in Automotive, Automation or Robotic Welding is considered a plus.
A Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree.
