As a leading provider of software solutions and professional services that assist retailers in the planning and execution of their Advertising, Merchandising and Promotion (AMP) processes, we're currently seeking experienced, motivated individuals to join our Quality Assurance team. Our main product, Promotion Manager, is written in C++ and JAVA.

The successful candidate must be organized, detail oriented, personable, and have the ability to prioritize projects. A thorough understanding of SDLC and SQA methodology is required. Create and maintain test plans and scripts, using manual and automated test tools to exercise software. The Tester also creates and updates defect tracking logs.

Other key responsibilities include:
Follow defects through tracking system to completion
Execute performance and load analysis
Test web services and application sever technology
Use automated testing tools

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
QA Tester must have 3+ years of related experience
Demonstrated strong technical skills
Solid understanding of Release Cycle and QA/testing methodologies
Experience running SQL queries & stored procedures
Familiarity with all Window platforms, testing tools, network architecture and databases
Strong analytical skills - able to synthesize complex information, collect and research data
Problem solving skills - identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, analyzing information skillfully, and developing alternative solutions
Creates test plans and test cases.
Strong oral communication skills - speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listens and gets clarification, and responds well to questions
Writes clearly and informatively and reads and interprets written information easily
