Risk Management Associate

ROLE SUMMARYThis critical position plays an important role in the team and has specific responsibility for development of reports using a new data platform, conducting competitive and economic environment analysis. Daily tasks include but are not limited to explore performance trends, conduct ad-hoc analysis and develop standard reports on a new platform. Successful candidate will be expected to leverage his/her analytical experience and skills to assess the impacts of existing strategies and make recommendations on improvements.
The role offers a significant and challenging environment for the right person to apply existing skills in a creative manner while also providing a unique opportunity to further develop business and career experiences.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
EXPERIENCEGood understanding about financial service industry: credit card, insurance, Baking etc.
Experience in statistic analysis. Good understanding of regression models.
Experience in data mining, analysis and solving business problems using quantitative methods.
Knowledge of using Microsoft Office product to explain and present analyses and results.
COMPETENCIESFormal training in quantitative fields, such as statistics, finance, computer science etc.
Strong analytic skills including statistical theory and practices, financial analysis and reports.
Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
Good knowledge of the industry, risk management practices and business metrics.
Extensive computer skills including in-depth knowledge and proficiency in SQL and SAS.
Good communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
