Resident Inspector

Job Type: construction - water/waste water

Responsibilities:
O'Brien and Gere currently has permanent openings for Resident Inspectors in Kentucky and surrounding areas to observe and ensure municipal and industrial projects are constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications developed by the Design Divisions for water/waste water treatment plants; and dsitribution/collection line systems. Duties will include: maintain accurate field notes and generate daily reports, identify errors in the contract documents, record as-built conditions, understand and assist with the submittal process, understand and monitor schedules, foster and maintain good working relationships with contractors/subcontractora, design teams and other O'Brien and Gere construction services associates.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Qualifications:
Candidate should be familiar with concrete, steel, mechanical and electrical systems, and instrumentation. These positions will be permanent and are expected to be forty hours per week with occasional overtime.
