Research Assistant - Chemistry Degree

We are currently looking for a Research Assistant with a leading medical/ dental product company in Orange, CA. This position is a full time position, Monday through Friday from 7am-4pm.

Major Responsibilities:

This position will contribute to the development of new products,
involving the formulation and characterization of dental adhesives and cements.


Conducts assigned experiments using appropriate equipment,
techniques and protocols agreed upon with supervisor.

Records experimental data according to established procedures,
make calculations and maintains accurate records of work.

Assists in determining equipment and supplies and prepares and
processes requisitions.

May prepare standard technical reports and memos.

Remains aware of scientific literature pertinent to current
research activities.

Provides limited training to Research Technicians as necessary

Assists in identifying deficiencies in existing procedures and
makes recommendations for improvement.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree in Chemistry, other scientific disciplines will not be considered
No experience required
