Regional Sales Manager - Test & Measurements

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides application engineering support and advanced technical support (hardware and software) for control, recorder and PLC’s on projects identified by management. Has strong background and significant practical experience in PID control, data acquisition, PLC, SCADA/HMI, industrial protocols and general networking. Has hands-on working knowledge of process control and data acquisition in a variety of industries. Application Engineer II will work in a consultant role on significant projects involving new applications of Yokogawa and third party products and will direct activities of other members of technical support group. Application Engineer II will be available as a field resource for customer and and sales force with travel up to 40%.

Must be able to effectively produce on multiple projects with little supervision. Must have demonstrated ability to learn new products and technologies in a self-learning mode. Able to interact successfully operators, I&C technicians, engineers, and management for while switching between roles of technical sales, trainer, and technical support. .

Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to create written materials such as white papers, application notes and training materials. Should be comfortable in front of an audience and possess proven skills as presenter. Proficient with standard office productivity software (MS Office…)

Achieves short and long term goals of Network Solutions in sales, customer support and marketing development. Aids the manager of the application engineering and technical support group in evaluating new products and opportunities for the division.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated skills and knowledge with control technology (PID…), data acquisition systems, PLC, SCADA/HMI software. Proficiency with MS Office. Sales experience, programming skills (Visual Basic, C++..), web development, and/or experience as system integrator considered as valuable added qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Sales experience, programming skills (Visual Basic, C++..), web development, and/or experience as system integrator considered as valuable added qualifications.

Education: B.S. Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)

Prior Experience: 1-7 years experience as systems integrator, process engineer or controls vendor.
