Quality Manager

General Summary
Provide technical support on all food safety and quality issues within the plant. Investigates, plans and enacts changes to programs or procedures to maintain the quality standards of the products produced.Principal Accountabilities
10% - Track, report and investigate consumer complaints for Lakeland Plant.
20% - Manage the sanitation department
25% - Maintain and improve existing Quality Programs (HACCP, NSF-ISR, GMPs, etc.) at the Lakeland Plant.
20% - Represent the Lakeland plant in all Corporate Product Development initiatives.
25% - Represent the Lakeland plant in all Corporate Quality initiatives.
Job Complexity
Ability to review data and observe a trend to find a solution to a problem.
Must be able to make decisions that would affect the quality and safety of the product.
Determine how initiatives will fit into existing technology and structure.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
Minimum education required: B.S., Sciences
Education preferred: B.S., Sciences & MBA
Minimum Experience: 5 YearsQualifications
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Systems knowledgable.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
