Quality Control Technician

Purpose: An ambitiously growing company on the brink of doubling the size of their already established company through the development and production of a new and innovative product, is in search of future leaders for their company.

This position is working in their quality control group assuring their packaging quality standards are kept high. This person will perform line clearances on a state of the art packaging machine, oversee all aspects of quality relating to packing. These aspects include AQL sampling, dimensional analysis, leak testing, etc. This person will also review and release batch records relating to packaging. This position will be testing and analyzing the packaging to make sure it adheres to standards. With anything that is out of spec, they will work with the production personnel to fix the problems moving forward. Other duties as assigned will also be required; these duties will be general QA type things. This person will be cross trained in all aspects of QA, so candidates that are eager to learn will work out best.

Qualified candidates will have an AS or BS (preferably in science). We are looking for someone that has at least 1 year of packaging QA experience. This experience can be in pharmaceutical, medical device, food industries or personal care industries. Anything regulated by the FDA. This person has to be someone who is willing to contribute in many different areas as they will be pulled into different things as production demands change.
