Our client is an organization that is dedicated to producing high quality metal products and mechanical assemblies for the Aerospace, Computers, Communications, Defense, Electronics and Medical industries. Utilizing the latest in Cad / Cam ("Pro-Engineering") technology our services include design assistance with value engineering always of paramount concern. Since 1958 this business has handled customers' most demanding and complex jobs, start to finish, with quality assurance that has garnered respect industry-wide.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* This position will be responsible for managing documentation, product inspection and product release functions of the Quality Assurance Department.
* Assuring compliance to corporate, regulatory and industrial standards, also ensuring continuous improvement.
* This position will have the responsibility of assisting with external regulatory inspections and corporate compliance audits.
* Overseeing on-line QA inspection/ Quality Engineering activities of applicable production lines and managing the department operational budget.Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years experience in a fast-paced production / manufacturing ISO certified environment.
* 2+ years experience as a manager / supervisor.
* Broad knowledge and experience with various types of inspection equipment, CMM and calibration procedures.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, CADKEY, CNC, CAM a plus.
*Knowledge of MIL specifications, ASME and ANSI standards a plus.
*Ability to implement procedures set up by the company.
* Independent, mature team player with excellent social skills and poise.
* Extraordinary ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
