QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

Seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector, preferably in the field of stainless steel welding and fabrication of pressure tanks/vessels.

Good communication skills, accuracy and thorough and constantly attentive to detail is essential. Ability to work under the pressure of deadline.

Person selected will be responsible to inspect all products during entire manufacturing process to ensure specifications, blueprint, code and company and customer quality assurance standards are met or exceeded including: assigning welding procedures to be used, all materials used are correct and maintains the NTR log and assures calibration of measuring tools and pressure gauges and maintains the calibration log.

5-8 years fabrication, welding experience in pressure vessels, with stainless steel, hast alloy, inconel, aluminum, titanium and similar alloys. Knowledgeable and experienced in all facets of quality assurance to include statistical process control, measurement and testing (X-ray, RT & PT) tech. Thorough knowledge of ASME and other codes and QA standards. Working knowledge of: layout equip; calipers; verniers; depth & filet gauges; MRMS meters; PT equip ultra-sonic testing equip; dial indicators; protractors.
